Membership Requirements
Letter of Intent
Officers are responsible for completing the University Affiliation and Letter of Intent each calendar year. This will be sent to the club officer email registered with NIRCA and must be completed electronically and returned by September 15. To begin the process of digitally signing and completing the University Affiliation and Letter of Intent, New Member University Affiliation and Letter of Intentcomplete this form. An email will be sent to you prompting you further.
New clubs must complete the New Member University Affiliation and Letter of Intent by September 15 (or the date specified in their acceptance letter) in the same manner as above.

Annual Dues
Your annual membership dues must be paid no later than October 1 of each calendar year. The amount that you pay depends upon your club's status. See the details below on what options are available for your club.

Dues Options
Requirements for New Clubs
Your club joined after November 13, 2011 and is therefore not required to pay dues until the 2013-2014 season. This is because you are currently considered a new club and still qualify for the first year of free membership.
Championship Series Costs
- REGIONAL Championship race entry fees will be 20/runner
- NATIONAL Championship race entry fees will be 20/runner(XC) and 35/runner(Road)
All new clubs must return the new member Letter of Intent by September 1, or the date specified in the acceptance letter.

Requirements for Second Year Clubs
DUES PAYMENT DEADLINE without penalty-October 1, 2011.
Since this will be your second year in NIRCA, it will also be the first time you will be required to pay dues. As such, your club must pay the one-time $50 instatement fee as well as annual dues. Please select your dues option below.
Beginning April 1, 2011 clubs will have the opportunity to elect one of the below options for 2011-2012 dues. Changes can be made at the beginning of the next calendar year.

OPTION 1
- Dues payment: 200, one instalment
- REGIONAL Championship race entry fees will be 20/runner
- NATIONAL Championship race entry fees will be 20/runner(XC) and 35/runner(Road)
- Recommended for clubs bringing less than 20 runners to Regionals
OPTION 2
- 2011-2012 dues payment: 600, one instalment
- REGIONAL Championship race entry fees are included in yearly dues, unlimited entries
- NATIONAL Championship race entry fees will be 18/runner(XC) and 30/runner(Road)
- Recommended for clubs bringing 20+ runners to Regionals

DUES PAYMENT DEADLINE without penalty-October 1
Since your club has been a NIRCA member for 3 or more years, we thank you for your continued commitment to collegiate club running. Beginning April 1 clubs will have the opportunity to elect one of the below options for dues. Once an option is elected, changes can be made only at the beginning of the next year.
