Race Information

Course Location:
Crystal Springs Cross Country Course
Belmont, CA

Terrain: An all dirt course. It's easy on the knees and scenery is nice (overlooking a wildlife reserve). The entire course is up and downhill. The view and the elevation changes make it for an always-fun run. No shade, so be prepared for full sun and a hot day. Also, stay on the paths because of the wildlife.

Water might be provided but not guaranteed; plan to bring your own.

The course is located on very sensitive property. There are some uncommon restrictions-- such as no dogs, no bicycles, and no smoking. It is a game refuge and has to be treated as such.

Spikes are not recommended.

Awards: Top 10 individuals in each race
Top 3 teams

9:00 AM - Presidents Meeting at Team Check-In Area
10:00 AM - Men's 8k
10:50 AM - Women's 6k
11:30 AM - Awards on course IMMEDIATELY following women's race

12-Passenger team vans: park inside behind the starting area

All other vehicles must park out on the street (Hallmark Drive) and walk through Hallmark Park.

Social Event:
Awards may not be held on the course due to scheduling/time limitations on the course. Please check back for more instructions on where awards will be held & social/gathering places following the meet.

    Additional Requirements for Pacific Regionals


  • EVERY INDIVIDUAL MUST COMPLETE AN ADDITIONAL MEDICAL RELEASE FORM BY THURSDAY, 10/22 (separate from the participant waiver)

  • EVERY INDIVIDUAL & CLUB LEADER must read the course handbook before the event. Failure for team compliance will result in team disqualification and/or removal from premises.

  • All teams must have a first aid kit to compete, which will be checked at the Presidents Meeting.

  • Athletes under age 17 on race day: email race.management@clubrunning.org to submit additional medical details.


  • Registration Information:

    Registration opens on September 24, 2015
    Registration closes on October 18, 2015 at 11:59pm

    Cost: $30 per runner or $400 per team.
