Course Location:
Franklin Park
Boston, MA
Terrain: The courses at Franklin Park are 99% grass and dirt with excellent footing. In the true spirit of cross country running, the course is challenging with equal parts run on flats and hills. Although both the Women's 5K and Men's 8K races traverse fields, wide trails and grass pathways, the footing is excellent. Spikes are recommended, but racing flats and/or trainers are also acceptable.
The NIRCA races will be held within the USATF Codish Bowl open races, and NIRCA teams will have separate scoring and awards.
Spikes can be worn at the runner's discretion.
Awards: Awards will be given to the top three individual finishers and the top two teams (champion and runner-up).
