Race Information
Course Location:
Binghamton Univeristy Nature Preserve
Binghamton, NY
Terrain: The course begins flat for the first mile of the 5k and 8k. The second mile begins on a large hill that is approximately 600 meters in length in total. Following this is our nature preserve hard ground trails. the 5k does this loop once. the 8k does this loop twice. Then runners return down the pipeline hill and over a few rolling hills and downhills, charge to the finish located next to the start line.
Spikes can be worn at the runner's discretion.
Awards: Top 10 in each race. Top 2 teams.

Hotel information:
There are several around the area including a hilton, ramada, and best westerns around. We have a lot of members who live in houses off campus. We would be more than welcomed to offer free housing to those teams who ask first and don't mind bringing your own sleeping bags.
Directions:
4400 Vestal Parkway East, Binghamton NY 13905. NY 17 East and West brings you right to Binghamton, as does 81 North and South.

A Pasta dinner social the night before the event.

Registration opens on September 8, 2016
Registration closes on October 6, 2016 at 11:59pm
Cost: $15 per runner or $225 per team.
Checks payable to: Binghamton University Club Sports
Cancellation Policy:
Must be at the latest, 4 days prior.
Eligibility: This is a QUALIFYING event.
All competitors are student members of a NIRCA member club.
An individual runner's participation in this event meets one of the qualifying criteria to race at Nationals.
